Variation Aeration is Michael Adeniken’s second track in the album titled Adecentros Vol. I. He enters the world of electronic music after being a Classical Pianist and Composer. This is the second in a series of interviews about his new album.

Alexandria Burns: Welcome back, I want to start off by saying this is a completely different track than Expansion. Why did you go in this direction for you second track?

Michael Adeniken: I agree Alex. I spent so much time creating Expansion, obsessing over every detail. When it came time do create the second track, the multitude of sounds I had stockpiled naturally led to Variation Aeration.

Alexandria Burns: How did you come up with the melody for this track?

Michael Adeniken: Once I put the chords together from my electric piano coupled with the bells, the melody revealed itself. There are so many sounds in this track from the low but subtle bass to guitar’s to a distorted frogs voice.

Alexandria Burns: What does Variation Aeration mean?

Michael Adeniken: For this track, they mean… essentially bubbles of sound rising to the surface and popping in your ear. Sounds weird but metaphorically that’s what I thought of when creating Variation Aeration.

Alexandria Burns: We’re only two songs in, does Variation Aeration rank 1 or 2 so far?

Michael Adeniken: Number 2, Expansion is the original, I can’t beat it yet.

Alexandria Burns: That’s it for this one, see you in the next one.
